Founded over 30 years ago as a single boutique in the Alzal souk of Riyadh, Arabian Oud is now the Middle East’s leading perfumer, with over 750 stores worldwide. Oud – a rare, traditional ingredient derived from the resin of the Aquilaria tree – is highly protected, growing wild in only a handful of equatorial regions.
We were commissioned to reposition the brand to target a more global audience and to create a new online store.
Accompanying the redrawn marque, we developed brand elements including an icon set, typefaces and colour palette. In addition, we established a photographic style for the brand and products, as well as defining a new tone of voice through strategic copywriting.
The new fully responsive online store offers customers a seamless shopping experience, including the option to explore the collection by selecting their preferred scent notes and style of fragrance.
